Social justice, gender equality and female empowerment are at the core of SABA’s ethos.

Behind every SABA garment is a talented team dedicated to creating wardrobe essentials that inspire you to feel strong, empowered and confident. We want to ensure everyone involved in the journey from design to production is treated fairly, can work with dignity, and is valued for their expertise.

To further our commitment to gender equality, we’re excited to announce our partnership with UN Women Australia.

We’re honoured to be the first official apparel partner to the inspiring organisation responsible for promoting women’s empowerment. "UN Women Australia only works with companies that are committed to co-designing a better and more equal future for women" says CEO of UN Women Australia Simone Clarke.

"Companies like SABA - who are committed in their purpose and in their business, to a fair and equitable future for everyone."

"Partnering with UN Women Australia is a great way for us to set an example of transparency, respectful relationships and empowerment across all areas of our business" adds SABA's Social and Environment Manager Eloise Rapp.

TO CELEBRATE INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY, WE SAT DOWN WITH THREE INSPIRING MEMBERS OF THE UN WOMEN AUSTRALIA TEAM TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THEIR ROLES AND WHAT THE ANNUAL EVENT MEANS TO THEM.

SIMONE | CEO OF UN WOMEN AUSTRALIA

Throughout her career, Simone has had the opportunity to work for groundbreaking organisations that focus on the rights of women and girls. “When the opportunity to join UN Women Australia as CEO came up, it was a position I had spent my whole career working towards - and I love it.”

JANE | RELATIONSHIP MANAGER

Jane’s role is to educate, inform and retain UN Women Australia’s key supporters. You’ll often find her organising engagements or speaking to international teams in Fiji and Sri Lanka. “I also have the amazing pleasure of working with precious partners like SABA to progress towards our mutual goals.”

NICOLE | BUSINESS INTERN

Nicole’s role varies from day to day. You’ll often find her behind the camera shooting social media content or attending meetings with UN Women Australia’s prospective partners. "I love that I am encouraged to express what gender equality means to me on a personal level. I have a newfound hope for a gender-equal future."
