When in Paris... with Holly Titheridge
The unequivocal charm of the City of Lights is forever romanticized in our minds, and for good reason. Buzzing with life, culture and indescribable beauty, it’s no wonder this pulsating city speaks to the hearts of many.
With only a short time in the ever-incredible French Capital, Holly Titheridge shares her ultimate itinerary for how to spend a long weekend in Paris.
Where to Stay
It’s all about location in Paris, so if you can splurge, The Peninsula Paris offers the true Parisian experience. Ask for a balcony room, I can assure you that the views of the Parisian rooftops are to die for! All you’ll need is a cheeky champagne and a croissant (or five).
What to Wear
Dress to impress when it comes to Paris! Leading into spring (while it’s still a little fresh) think lightweight suiting, flowy maxi skirts and dresses layered with trench coats and knee-high boots.
Where to Drink
Café Kitsune will become your morning coffee stop! Grab a coffee to-go and enjoy the Parisian sunshine by the fountain in Jardin du Palais Royal. Looking for somewhere to unwind after five o’clock? The Hoxton Hotel is a new hot-spot in town that will provide not only a great cocktail, but beyond beautiful interiors!
What to See
If it’s your first time in Paree, it’s necessary to tick off the must-do tourist attractions. The Louvre, Tuilerie Gardens and Eiffel Tower are even more beautiful in person, and quite honestly will leave you speechless. However, for the jetsetters after something a little left of centre, I suggest a visit to a local museum. The choices are endless in Paris, but Musee Nissim De Camondo will not disappoint!
